Moths  This section is primarily split into two major sub-sections: Macro and Micro. However, the Macro moths have been further split into five arbitrary alphabetical groupings. These are organised by Common Name with the Family Name (Genus) taking precedence e.g. Pine Hawkmoth is listed under Hawkmoth, not Pine. Scientific names are also given.  The Micro moths are organised alphabetically by Scientific Name with any Common Names also given.  To enlarge a thumbnail, click on the image when the pointed finger appears (or double-tap on Touchscreen). This will also access a slideshow and further information associated with the image. All images taken in Northamptonshire unless otherwise stated.
