Dragonflies and Damselflies
The images in this sub-section are split into two obvious further sub-sections, indicated below. From there they are organised by Common Name with the Family Name (Genus) taking precedence e.g. Common Darter would be listed under Darter, not Common; this is followed by the Scientific Name.

The most useful reference tool is Dragonflies of Britain and Europe by Dijkstra and Lewington.
The FSC have a handy, weatherproof reference guide for the Dragonflies and Damselflies of Britain.
The Atlas of Dragonflies in Britain and Ireland (Cham, Nelson et al) is, as you would expect, very comprehensive.
